Condolences for Helen L. Gallup

  1. Mrs. Gallup was my 6th grade teacher and my forever favorite teacher. She was fair but tough; kind but firm. I try to emulate those qualities today in my teaching career. She gave us all a good start to junior high and high school. Teachers like her are hard to come by. I will always appreciate everything she did for me.

  2. Aloha to Helen’s Family!

I was saddened to hear of Helen’s passing. I taught art at the Fairbanks School twice each week from the fall of ’61 to the spring of ’63. Helen was a lovely and welcoming person. I was also son Jim’s Best Man in the summer of ’67
