  4. So sorry I couldn’t be there Grandpa. I will love you always and will never forget your kind and gentle heart. You were the ultimate joker. Your laugh could fill up a room. I will never forget you rubbing your whiskers on me as a child just to hear me giggle. You were an excellent woodsman. I will cherish my cedar chest always. You were an amazing father, husband and grandfather. I never heard you raise your voice to anyone nor did I ever remember you ever getting upset with anyone. You loved people and people loved you. I will never forget the day after your surgery in 2001 when you were able to wear that green shirt you had bought in Hawaii. It had een hanging in your closet for years. You had lost so much weight due to that surgery you came out of the bedroom just beaming. It still makes me laugh. You were so happy that day. And then, the most recent memory is when I saw you for the last time over Thanksgiving 2010. I brought my family to the nursing home where you got to meet your great grand daughter for the first time. You had such a good day. You held my daughter and talked to her and she just laughed. You got see my son that day too. You just loved playing with him and he gave you the biggest hug and said, ” I love you Papa Kleitsch.” Your grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss you. We loved you so.
