Sharon and Sandy: I was so sorry to hear about your mom. I had such a nice visit with her when Sandy brought her to Norma’s funeral a few weeks ago. How nice that so many of us got to see her that day! We are so lucky that our mom’s lived past 90 and that we had many great years with them. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
She was a fun lady to be around. Loved playing cards in the afternoon at Linden Place.
I will truly miss her.
So sorry for the loss of sweet Aunt Evelyn. I have many fond memories of time with her. NO one enjoyed shopping more than Aunt Evelyn!
Dear Friends, I remember fondly, lots of time spent with Evelyn when I was her pastor. Such a great woman! So glad she had a long, fulfilling life! Treasure your memories, and keep the best of her alive in your own lives. Take care, God’s Love and Peace, Rev. Mary K. Green (chaplain with Good Neighbor Society, Manchester, Iowa)
Some of my favorite childhood memories are the days and nights spent with Evelyn out at the farmhouse. She was such a caring, sweet lady and will be so very missed. Love and prayers go out to her entire family.
