He was born November 20, 1957 in Broomfield, Colorado. The son of Richard and Francis (Boland) Ricklefs.
Survived by: one brother David Ricklefs of Hartand, WI. four sisters; Marcia (Simeon) Tauber of Arcada CA. Sherry (Garth) Balthazor of Murrieta, CA. Vicky (Randy) Olson of Bend, OR. Diane Parker of Vinton, an aunt; Rosemary Boland of Hazleton an uncle; Delbert Ricklefs of Central City along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceded by: his parents and grandparents and a nephew; Ricky Balthazor
Services: Saturday May 12 at 10:30 am at the Funeral Home, with visiation from 9:00 am to the time of service.
Burial: Immaculate Conception Cemetery Fairbank, Ia.

I just read in the this morning of Donnies death (5-12-12) and was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sending my sympathy in the loss of your brother. I always enjoyed waiting on him when he came grocery shopping at Fareway while I was working there. I always stoled a piece of his chocolate which he always bought. When he wasn’t able to come in mom would still buy his chocolate and so I still was able to snitch one. I did visit him once in Mercy Living Plus while he was there.
