FAIRBANK-Clara E. Peters, 83, died at her home in Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday, May 27, 2010.Â
Clara was born in Fairbank, Iowa on September 9, 1926 to Tom and Eva (Bond) Harn.
She married Louis D. Peters on August 6, 1946.
Survived by: Teo daughters, Mary Carroll Dimmich of Phoenix, AZ., Eileen (James) Klemme of Phoenix , AZ., and one son, Jerry (Jane) Peters of Shenondah Junction, West Virginia. Ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two sisters, Mary Miller of Fairbank and Dorothy Mersch of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by:Â her husband Louis Peters, her parents and one sister, Eileen Corcoran.
Services: at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 19th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fairbank, with inurnment at the Church Cemetery. Family will greet people on Friday, June 18 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Woods Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family and one check will be made to Hospice of the Valley in Tempe, Arizona.

On behalf of my mother, Dolores Oakley of Pheonix, Arizona, I am so sorry for your loss of Clara. She was a good friend of my mother’s and school friend from Fairbank, Iowa. Then neighbors in the Dessert Shadows Resort in Pheonix Mom always liked to visit wih Clara and have her as a neighbor in Dessert Shadows park.
