 FREDERICKSBURG- Linda Kay Linder died Thursday, November 16 at Linn Haven Rehab Care Center, New Hampton, Iowa.

She was born July 27, 1945 in Oelwein, Iowa.  The daughter of Alfred H. and Florence M. (Besler) Recker.

She graduated from Sacred Heart School, Oelwein also from Upper Iowa College in Fayette.

She married Gerald F. Linder at Sacred Heart Church, Oelwein on August 13, 1966.

She taught school at Sumner Community School,  and Fredericksburg Community School. Later years she was in insurance business.  Her most important role was being Mother and Grandmother.

Survived By: husband, Jerry, four sons: Mitch (Kellie) Linder of OKatie, South Carolina; Matt (Lynn) Linder of West Des Moines, Iowa; Mark (Emily) Linder of Ankeny, Iowa and Michael (Stephanie) Linder of Charleston, South Carolina. Six grandchildren: Addison and Mason Linder, Henry Linder, Cody Aldrich, Riley and Shelby Pickhardt.  Two sisters: Mary Ann Ryan and Sharon (John) Woods both of Fairbank, Iowa.  Three brothers: Larry (Mary) Recker of Oelwein,Iowa, Lyle (Fran) Recker and Dale (Judy) Recker both of Arlington, Iowa.  Sister in-law Mary Lee Recker of Arlington, Iowa, and brother in-law Pete Reeser of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Preceeded in death by: her parents, Alfred and Florence Recker, one sister, Betty Reeser and two brothers: Carl and Ernie Recker

Services: Private family services on Monday, November 26, at 3:00 p.m. at Hugeback & Johnson Funeral Home at Fredericksburg, Iowa.  At 4:00 p.m. family will see family and friends at the Fredericksburg Community Hall.  Dinner will be served.

Memorials may be made to Friends of the Library, Iowa Hospice, Fredericksburg Community Education Foundation and other Local Organizations.
