  1. I have known Ruth for many years and she brought joy & laughter into many people’s lives. Her smile and eyes always lit up the room. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

  2. Please accept our sincere condolences. I will always have fond memories of Ruth, the Gallups and how good they were to my dad, Joe. May God Bless.

  3. Ruth was very proud of her heritage and loved history. Grandma Kay always talked about how dedicated Ruth was to their church. She will be greatly missed.

  4. Ruth was quite a lady! She reached that milestone age of 100, which was probably one of her goals! Rick and I reminisced that she made our wedding cake almost 53 years ago! We will keep you all close in thought as you gather for her memorial service tomorrow.

  5. I spent many ‘vacations’ with Ruth and Loren at their farm near Littleton. They were always very generous, loving and fun. Helping Ruth make mincemeat pies for Farmer’s Day Celebration in Jesup was always a tradition and a treat. We would go visit many people, go out to eat, go for drives through the countryside and go to various small town celebrations. When my oldest son was a junior in high school I was in charge of Senior Parents for the prom. She came for a visit and pitched right in to help make the evening a success. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. I have such fond memories of our family’s time with her and have always been grateful for the fun and special memories she gave me.

  6. Thoughts and prayers to Harvey and family. She will be missed I have know her for most of my life. She brought many people joy and laughter and friendship no matter where she was.
